I'm also a casual teacher at the local TAFE college. My teaching specialises in website and web application development as well as 2D animation and Flash game development.

This site includes a number of Flash ActionScript tutorials to assist my students and any other person who wants to learn how to program using actionscript. The tutorials are aimed at beginners and assume no prior programming knowledge or skills. The learner is expected to have a working knowledge of the flash interface and be able to create the basic flash symbols: graphics, buttons and movieclips.

The focus is on game development as this aids my teaching work. If time and motivation permit I may add other tutorials in the future. ALL tutorials on this site have been developed and tested using Flash 8 on MacOS X 10.3.9. If you find any bugs or need further explanations, please contact me via the feedback form.

I am also passionate about music, live and recorded so don't be surprised to find reviews of gigs, cds and music dvds on the site as well. My other main interest is going for long walks with my camera. Once I have the tutorials online I'll be adding a photo gallery.... famous last words.
